THE PURPLE MAILBOX

2021 · SOCIAL IMPACT CAMPAIGN · BRANDING · MURALISM

Commissioned by the Town Council of Torelló (Barcelona) for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (#25N), The Purple Mailbox was more than a visual identity—it was a movement. The campaign combined branding, talks, workshops, and collaborative murals, engaging over 350 students to raise awareness through action.

The goal was to create a bold, memorable identity that encouraged student participation beyond passive awareness. The campaign had to integrate seamlessly into schools, ensuring high engagement in talks, workshops, and murals while making gender violence prevention an accessible conversation.

We developed a strong, symbolic visual identity, designed for adaptability across events and materials. The campaign extended beyond design, turning into an immersive experience through interactive sessions and large-scale mural paintings. Over 350 students from four schools took part, generating significant local media coverage on radio, television, and newspapers.

The Purple Mailbox transformed a public awareness initiative into real participation, leaving a lasting impact on students and the community. The campaign’s reach and engagement proved that meaningful design goes beyond aesthetics—it drives action.
